Chauffeur drive wine experiences with Lexus

This exciting initiative starts in April and allows for the first ten bookings at a tasting to be offered a Lexus vehicle, with Chauffeur, free of charge to collect them and two guests and take them to the wine tasting in style, and drop them off again later. Guests will have the option of driving the vehicle on the way there, and after enjoying a range of superb wines from the Under the Influence team, recline in luxurious leather seats on the way home. This entire experience is complimentary to the wine tasting, which typically cost only R100, and cover a wide range of South Africa’s leading wines.

Under the Influence wine experiences are unique, in that they don’t just focus on one wine Estate, but rather a topic that encompasses different varietals, or regions or wine making styles. Some of the wine tastings have included a focus on how oak influences flavour, Rhone blends in South Africa, Bordeaux blends in South Africa, cool vs warm climate wines, small boutique Estates and many more, where the focus is on learning through tasting and fun experiences. Wine bully language is not allowed and Guests are encouraged to explore, discuss and relax around the sometimes daunting topic of fine wine.
