In the 2004 cult movie Sideways, Miles expresses some rather strong feelings about his dislike of the variety…”if anyone orders Merlot, I’m leaving!”, plunging this grape, so vulnerable to the vagaries of coolness, into vinous abyss. This is the tasting where we prove the cynics wrong! Join us as we explore the full expression of this misunderstood grape, from incredibly rich and luscious, to wonderfully soft and elegant!
