Deconstructing Chardonnay Thursday 18th February
Under the Influence presents another “deconstructing wine” tasting where we explore the wonderful wines made from the Chardonnay grape. Chardonnay has many guises, from unoaked and fruit driven, to heavily oaked and butter soaked. We will take a walk through each style, from different terroir in the Cape and really get to grips with this noble grape. Chardonnay lovers will find a little piece of heaven in this tasting and ABC’s will change their minds sharply! Wines to explore include Ataraxia, Hamilton Russell, Oak Valley, Iona, Cordoba, amongst others.
