Deconstructing Chenin Blanc Tuesday 9th February
Chenin Blanc has sometimes been labelled as the less fashionable and lower quality grape in South Africa, but this is a load of nonsense. The fact that it has been planted far and wide for years means that we are increasingly seeing a range of terroir driven wines from older bush vines. Chenin Blanc is hugely versatile, showing beautifully as an unoaked or oaked wine, and wonderfully demonstrating the soil and climate in which it is grown. This tasting explores some of South Africa’s top Chenin Blancs in a journey through flavour and terroir, including wines from Raats, Rudera, Tierhoek, Lammershoek, Eben Sadie and De Trafford.

Ok, so you’ve got three different dates (2nd, 8th, 9th) and two different costs (R100, R120). Some clarity?

Hey there, apologies for the confusion, there is a typo here, the cost is R100 per person (9th Feb). The other tasting is in Cape Town (4th Feb) for R90. The extra R10 pays for our Kulula tickets (sort of!)
