Deconstructing Pinot Noir with Under the Influence

Under the Influence is proud to present another one of the “decsontructing wine” series and this time we are deconstructing Pinot Noir, that noble and for winemakers both aspirational and highly frustrating grape! We will take a walk through the primary and secondary flavours of Pinot Noir, looking at the different terroir in which it is grown in South Africa, and hopefully understanding a little bit more about the grape. We are looking to source wines from Hamilton Russell, Paul Cluver, Bouchard Finlayson and Cathy Marshall to name a few.
