Deconstructing Shiraz with Under the Influence

Shiraz. Syrah. South Africa is producing some leading lights of this varietal and we want to deconstruct this grape in a discovery tasting at the Roundhouse. We will explore the grape, it’s characteristics in terms of flavour and aroma, and how it merges with oak. We will taste a range of wines from South Africa and uncover how the different regions and winemakers influence this beautiful grape.
