Wine tours. Yes, they have been done. You arrive, try and find parking, meet an uninspired tasting host, run through some wines and grab a bite on the way out. This is NOT what wine touring should be about. It should be about discovering small Estates, meeting the wine makers, tramping about high slopes, tasting wine from the barrel and poking into the private cellar of the owner.
