A Chenin Blanc led blend with subtle, elegant floral notes laced with ripe melon flavours and flinty mineral characters.

Grapes hand selected during night harvest has produced this full wine of distinctive character.  Dried fruit with tones of citrus interwoven with creamy toasted butterscotch, with intense citrus and granny smith tones and a rich lees character.

Aromas of leather and black current extend into the pallet mingling with sweet berries and pepper. An extended finish lingering over soft ripe tannins.

This rich wine has been produced in the excellent soils of Wellington and has a flavour of cassis and ripe plums with intense vanilla and dark  chocolate aromas.  Unusual as a single variety, this wine represents the back bone of many famous blends.

This elegant wine has berry richness, with blackcurants and ripe plums overlaid with soft smoky aromatic tannins.
