Raats Family Wines
Raats Family Chenin Blanc 2009
Six bottle case. R150 per bottle.
Honeyed pear / butterscotch and citrus flavours complemented by a firm minerality and spicy edge. Sourced from old vines from three vineyards. Characterised by their complex soils. Rich, intense, yet elegant and delicate on the palate.
Raats Original Chenin Blanc 2010
Twelve bottle case. R80 per bottle.
A beautifully structured wine, bursting with flavours of apple, pineapple, green melon and lime. The wine finishes subtly, yet distinct with great minerality and citrus flavours.
Raats Original Red Blend 2009
Twelve bottle case. R96 per bottle.
This is a classical blend of predominantly Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Pure and well defined, packed with blackcurrant and mulberry fruit and a hint of cocoa. Despite the wine’s power, it remains focused and pure. The finish is refreshing with a great mineral and tobacco aftertaste.
Raats Family Cabernet Franc 2009
Six bottle case. R300 per bottle.
A stunningly elegant Cabernet Franc from one of the greatest producers of the variety in South Africa. It combines a core of luscious blackberry, black cherry, and plum with expressive notes of cinnamon, tobacco, coffee, and spice. Silky tannins and hints of dark chocolate with a great minerality. This wine has a long and supple finish.
Mvemve Raats de Compostella 2008

Is there a way to order just a single bottle of wine or do I need to purchase the whole case?

Hi Lloyd, unfortunately it is only single bottles at the moment. Once delivery costs come down in SA we will look at smaller case deliveries, at the moment it just doesn’t make sense to pay the delivery fees for one bottle! Six bottles of Raats Original won’t last long though and you get one to taste in the First Growths case
